WILDLIFE
We love our wildlife and wildlife viewing is one of the highlights of staying at Yukon Lake Cabins. However, to share the wilderness with these beautiful animals we need to be aware of measures required to keep us safe, both on the property and while exploring the surrounding trails and pristine landscapes.
Please be sure to read all Bear/wildlife Safety information on the yukon.ca website prior to your visit:

LAKE
We recommend caution at all times when near or in the Lake. The beach/lake area is public property and unsupervised at all times. Yukon Lake Cabins is not responsible for anyone in this area.
Please be aware that Kluane Lake is the largest and deepest Lake in the Yukon. It is Glacier fed – which means it is extremely cold and can be dangerous if you fall in. Hypothermia can affect even the best of swimmers so please stay close enough to shore so that you can easily get out and do not swim alone. Weather can change the lake in a matter of minutes. Wind can cause high waves and turbulent waters. For your safety, please supervise your children and stay within close reach of the shore at all times.
FIRE BANS
Please check for fire bans prior to having a campfire and please DO NOT throw any cigarettes on the ground – one spark can ignite a blaze. Please visit Yukon.ca here to get the latest updates on the fire situation.
